SSL, which stands for Secure Sockets Layer, is a cyber-security protocol that digitally encrypts information sent from a browser to a server. SSL certificates are used to protect sensitive data, e.g., credit card numbers, usernames, passwords, email addresses, and more. Bidgigs has an SSL certificate system to identify using several trust indicators, like our "HTTPS" and the padlock icon in the browser bar, a site seal from a reputable Certificate Authority (CA), and a green bar that wraps around the URL on more premium certificates.
Escrow can hold a fund for up to 90 days. So you will have full control when you feel that it is time to release your payment after complete satisfaction. After 90 days, if for any reason the money is still sitting in our escrow account, the gig poster must give us a clear direction of what to do with the fund. An account keeping fees may apply.
The Money Back Guarantee policy protects you if you didn't receive your order or the delivery didn't comply with the agreed-upon order requirements and described service. For more information, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
It is a fee collected to cover the cost of operating the Bidgigs marketplace, which includes facilitating a secure transaction, developing our products and services, and providing customer support services. We strongly believe that our services are among the lowest in Australia, where other competitors are charging more than three times the amount with limited restrictions.
PAYPAL. It is the most trusted, safest advance payment processor in the world. All gigs members can securely transfer funds using their Paypal id.
A merchant account is an account that serves as a fund holding area (Escrow) and uses a customer's credit card, debit card, or bank details. When a gig poster sends money, it is held in the merchant account and later transferred to the gig worker account on poster request. This account works with the payment gateway and gives members a smooth transaction acceptance for Bidgigs payment processing.
We use Escrow on our platform to ensure security. It is like a middleman in transactions where the two parties do not trust each other. Both parties cannot touch the fund held in the Escrow account. It can only be released when the gig poster gives instructions after accepting service delivery, and the deal is closed. In case the gig poster is not satisfied with the service provided, the gig worker may eventually return the fund. Airbnb, eBay Motors, Alibaba, Bitcoin, etc., used Escrow facilities.
Once the poster is 100% satisfied with the service provided, he/she will authorize Bidgigs to release the fund, which then will be transferred into the gig worker's account immediately after processing. Usually the next day.
We understand that sometimes it is hard to describe poster needs, which they might not come across, or gig worker wants to offer poster extras. When this happens, both members need to agree to these requests in their private messages. All gig workers are friendly and open to negotiation, and they will be happy to help and resolve any issues.
Unfortunately, the poster cannot retract the order without the gig worker's approval and mutual agreement.
The gig poster is accepting the delivery of the item/service. We will consider that the gig poster is fully satisfied with the item/service provided. Bidgigs has an obligation to the gig worker to get paid as soon as possible for his hard work.
It is a digital code allowing you to save money as a discount voucher and reducing the subtotal billed. If you have a coupon, you can apply when you assign a gig task.
